George Brewster and Tommy Dreelan will complete the (once more) all-Scottish driver line-up for Celtic Speed in this year's Porsche Carrera Cup GB, continuing with the Montrose-based team alongside Rory Butcher.
Both Brewster and Dreelan have competed in the championship for Alan Keith's team since 2009, and this year Butcher is set to expand on the single round he ran with the team as a guest driver in 2010. Dreelen began racing in 2005, making his first PCCGB outings in 2008, Brewster, after experience in karting as a youngster and later Caterhams joined the series the following year. Both drivers will run in the Pro-Am2 class, meaning Dreelan moves down after running in Pro-Am1 throughout 2010.
“We're looking forward to a full season in the Carrera Cup,” said Dreelan, who is originally from Ireland. “With Rory in the team we've got someone to chase now and that should be a big help with the data as well.”
The team will test the new for 2011 Carrera Cup GB car at the championship's media day on March 22 in preparation for the first races of the season on April 2-3 at Brands Hatch.
