Michelin Continue Porsche GB Partnership

1 Mins read

Michelin has confirmed its continued support of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, with their partnership now entering its ninth consecutive season.

The French tyre manufacturer has provided the tyres for the series ever since it was founded in 2003. It will continue to support the teams and drivers throughout the year by awarding one with a complete set of slick racing tyres at each event, a prize worth £1,000.

Before the opening rounds at Brands Hatch, Michelin drew one name out of a hat to receive the first set of tyres, with the winner being SAS/Redline driver Michael Meadows.

Championship Manager Marion Barnaby commented: “Michelin has supported us throughout the history of the Carrera Cup GB and I am delighted that once again they are giving away 10 sets of tyres across the season.”
