Aaron Steele Ready To Go At Home Track

1 Mins read

Rochester based racer Aaron Steele is looking for another dominant weekend in the MSV F3 Cup as the competition for pre-2005 Formula 3 machinery heads to Brands Hatch at the driver's home track.

“I am really excited about getting to drive on the Grand Prix circuit at Brands hatch and it can’t come soon enough for me!” said Steele. “I have raced on it several times before but there's always something very special about it with its amazing history. Not to mention the chance to race on it due to many restrictions is very limited, adding to the specialness of it.”

Not only does Steele goes to Brands searching for more glory in the F3 Cup, but also in the Sunoco GRAND-AM 200 Challenge which offers a drive in the Continental Tire Series race at the famed Daytona International Speedway in January.

Despite his superior pace to much of the field Steele has often found himself out of luck this season, as was the case in the previous round when he and the Grays Motorsport team were robbed of a record of two wins from two poles when he spun off on oil deposited on track by another driver.

Steele is hoping for a straight forward event this weekend, hoping the wet weather that threatened to wash out the previous races stays away.

“Being August is that too much to ask of the British summer weather? I hope not…”
