Tickets to Autosport International, one of the world's leading motorsport shows, have gone on sale giving fans a chance to get up close and personal to some of machinery and people from the realm of racing. The 2011 show was attended by 80,000 motorsport fans.

The 2012 show (January 14-15) at the Birmingham NEC will feature the mix of live racing, exculsive celebrity appearances and displays of multi-million pound cars, ranging from a gird of F1 cars to some of the planet's most exotic supercars.

The Live Action Arena – the UK's largest indoor motorsport – will rattle to the sounds to a variety of engines – 2011's show featured a GT1 Nissan GT-R and a field of rallycross stars. If watching the action from the seats has whetted the appetite for speed, then visitors wil be able to take passenger drift rides in a Caterham, take on karting challenges or climb behind the wheel of a state-of-the-art simulator.

Pistonheads: The Performance Car Show will again share the vast venue with Autosport International, and the event is completed by the stars attracted to the event. From legends such as Sir Stirling Moss to current drivers like Jenson Button all will be on hand to give their view ahead of a full season of racing.

“Autosport International offers motorsport enthusiasts of all ages the opportunity to immerse themselves in all things four-wheeled,” said Autosport International Show Director Ian France. “We pride ourselves on providing the greatest motorsport show in the world, and 2012 is set to be really impressive.”

Adult tickets are available from £30, with children's tickets starting at £19.50. For more information go to www.autosportinternational.com.
