Times have been quite hard since my last instalment in Maylaysia, we were hoping to be out in Bahrain but due to delayed circumstances with potential sponsors, it has been very difficult to settle sponsorship issues in such a short space of time between races. This left me with the only option of being present in at the circuit for two weeks but unable to control my fate.
The importance of major sponsorship backing in a series as prestigious as GP2 is vitally important if you are to progress in this series, but plans are currently being put in place with a consortium of backers to allow me to get back out on track for Monaco in two weeks time.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Ocean Racing Technology for their continued support and efforts to find sponsorship to get me back in the car for the rest of the season, but it just goes to show, that even if the talent is there in this business, money still talks if I want to achieve my ambition of lining up on the Formula One grid in the future.
Off the track, I am still training very hard to keep myself in line with the physical demands of a GP2 car, so when the opportunity arises for me to go racing I will be in the best possible condition to perform in the car when needed.
