A couple of familiar faces in the G50 class of the 2012 Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup will be missing from action when the series returns from its spring break at Oulton Park this weekend.

Max Coates and Louise Richardson, both race-winners this season already, have announced they are unable to race in Cheshire due to lack of funds. Redbrick Racing’s Coates currently sits third in the G50 championship after taking four wins in the opening nine races, including a sensational triple victory at Donington Park, whilst Richardson took her maiden G50 win last time out at Thruxton and lies fourth in class for Richardson Racing.

There are two new drivers joining the G50 grid for the weekend however, with Ginetta Junior graduate Declan Jones making his debut and Irishman Connaire Finn making a return to the series. 16 year old Jones is making his first appearance with Century Motorsport, while Finn returns for the first time since Knockhill last season, having competed in half of 2011's races.
