He said: “It is with great pleasure that I accepted this opportunity to be one of the online instructors for the SAFEisFAST.com website. I’m honoured to be part of this line-up of instructors and to also be the first to offer advice from an engineering perspective.

He continued: “I think SAFEisFAST is a great, unequalled initiative set forth by the RRDC that offers such a wealth of information. I look forward to answering questions and adding to the data that can already be found on their website.

Since the not-for-profit website was set-up it has been viewed a staggering 188,000 times by visitors from 130 different countries. Also on the website are tutorials on safety, fitness, mental skills, race craft, career development, sponsorship, marketing and more in order to assist in advancing the careers of young racing drivers.
