FW Motorsport Launches Ahead Of 2013 Supercup Season

1 Mins read

Fergus Walkinshaw will run with his new team FW Motorsport in the 2013 Ginetta GT Supercup.

Walkinshaw launched his new team at the recent Autosport International show at the Birmingham NEC, with the team in discussions to run drivers across the Ginetta classes supporting the BTCC package, alongside running Walkinshaw in a G55 in the Supercup.

The 21 year old will compete in the Supercup once again this season, looking to build on his seven top six finishes in the series in 2012.

Walkinshaw commented: “I’m delighted to finally be able to announce FW Motorsport at Autosport International. Founding, running and driving in my own racing team has always been part of my plan and we’ve been working towards the 2013 season launch for some time.

“My aim is to bring one of the most professional set-ups to the Supercup paddock. Putting a quality campaign together for 2013 is our priority; the team infrastructure is already in place and developing.”
