Ginetta will once again have a big presence at Autosport International, with the British marque announcing a host of plans for the annual show.
Their stand will feature their race-winning G55 GT3, a Ginetta G55 as used in the GT Supercup, a Challenge G40 and a Junior G40, with four grid girls handing out Ginetta goodies, as well as offering visitors the chance win VIP tickets to a Ginetta GT Supercup/Junior race day of their choice.
The Yorkshire-based manufacturer has also teamed up with remote control car manufacturer Mardave to showcase new Ginetta GT12 model cars, a scaled copy of the G50. These will be raced by Ginetta Chairman Lawrence Tomlinson and Coronation Street star Tony Hirst, as well as a host of Ginetta stars past and present including Tom Ingram, Seb Morris, Alice Powell, Tom Sharp, Sennan Fielding and Max Coates.
Ginetta roadcars will feature in the Live Action Arena, with a G60 and G40R taking part in the Autocar ‘Best of British’ display, while Ginetta are joining forces with want2race to offer one aspiring race the chance to win a fully-funded drive in a Ginetta G40 during the Donington Park round of the Ginetta GT5 Challenge in October 2013, a prize worth over £6,000. Entry forms and further details will be available on the Ginetta stand.
