Hoggarth Targets Silverware On Supercup Return

1 Mins read

Marcus Hoggarth has signed up for a second season in the Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup, the Yorkshireman running once again in a JHR Developments-prepared G55.

Hoggarth finished in the top ten of the championship last season, with a best finish of fifth, and now having driven every track visited by the series, the York-based driver is looking to make rapid progress in his third full season of car-racing.

Hoggarth said: “I’m aiming for champagne and silverware this year; whilst I had a few unlucky outings in 2012 with seven DNF’s – we can say some of that is down to lack of experience – I still managed to finish within the top ten. Now having driven the various circuits going into this season, I have to be moving up the grid….”

“We are delighted to have Marcus back as part of JHR Developments for 2013, he should be coming back stronger than ever this season and we have little doubt he’ll make it onto the podium,” added JHR Developments Team Principal Steven Hunter.

Hoggarth joins Tom Ingram and Rob Boston in the JHR team for the 2013 Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup, which kicks off at Brands Hatch on March 30/31.
