Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup front-runner Tom Ingram has revealed the livery that will adorn his JHR Developments-run G55 during the 2013 season.
The 19 year old unveiled his car during the Ginetta Media Day at Silverstone, with increased backing from SKYCIG and continued support from KX producing a new blue and silver colour scheme.
“I think it looks really cool,” Ingram told TheCheckeredFlag.co.uk. “Thanks to Tom Baker who designed it, he’s done an awesome job and I’m really pleased with it, it’s certainly different to the norm.
“SKYCIG are having a massive involvement this year, so we’ve styled the car around them. They’re growing massively as a company so it’s great to be part of that and have them on board, as well as KX, Hansford Sensors and a few others.”
The test sessions at Silverstone continued Ingram’s preparations for the new campaign, with the 2011 Ginetta G50 Cup champion counting down the days to the series opener at Brands Hatch at the end of the month.
“I’m so excited for the season, I can’t even begin to describe it,” he added. “We’re going to be fighting very hard this year, we need the title this year and we’re going to be putting up a hell of a fight.”
