Stewards have excluded the G-Drive Racing LMP2 entry of John Martin, Mike Conway and Roman Rusinov from the 24 Hours of Le Mans after the car found was with a fuel tank exceeding the maximum size of 75 litres.

In post race checks the tank in the #26 ORECA-Nissan was found to be 0.4 litres too large. The decision means that all those classified behind the team in the race move up a place, meaning that third in the LMP2 class has been handed to the Greaves Motorsport team of Michael Krumm and Nissan Playstation GT Academy graduates Jann Mardenborough and Lucas Ordonez.

The trio, in the #42 Nissan engined Zytek, completed the same number of laps – 327 – as the G-Drive Racing team, and two fewer than the class winning #35 OAK Racing team.
