Ginetta Challenge Leader Bailey To Make G55 Debut

1 Mins read

Protyre Ginetta GT5 Challenge points leader Brad Bailey will join the Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup grid this weekend at Knockhill as he assesses his options for the 2014 season.

Ginetta stalwart Bailey will make his debut in the G55 category in Scotland, having made a one-off appearance in the G50 class of the Supercup at Snetterton last season, taking two podium finishes.

The 19 year old, who raced in the Ginetta Juniors for two seasons before joining the Challenge grid last season, has enjoyed a great season in the British GT-supporting series, with three race wins giving him a two point lead in the standings heading into the final meeting.

“With just one round of the Challenge left to run, myself and the team are starting to look at our options for 2014,” said Bailey. “With a long break ahead before the finale of the Challenge, this opportunity to race a G55 was one I couldn’t refuse.”
