1 Mins read

The Porsche Carrera Cup GB will be joined by the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge at Silverstone this weekend to provide a spectacular grid for the BTCC fans.

The two joint races will form the penultimate round for the Carrera Cup, while the GT3 Cup will come to a close at the end of the weekend. The grid shall be decided in two separate qualifying sessions on Saturday, with both series racing twice on Sunday from a split grid.

To help fans identify the differing championships racing, the GT3 cup will run with yellow screen headers and three digit numbers. Not only will the GT3 Cup contenders get to race twice on Sunday, they will also have the chance to be part of ITV4’s live coverage of the BTCC programme.

The first race on Sunday will take place at 10:20, while the second race, which will be televised live, will be at 15:15.
