16:32
So it’s Joe Osborne and Lee Mowle’s 888Optimum Racing BMW on pole with a lap of 1:28.289. He’s 0.450 seconds faster than later improver Richard Westbrook.

16:28
Checkered Flag out – no further improvements – probably because of the off at the bottom of the hill which looks like it could have been Declan Jones in the Century Ginetta G50

16:27
Westbrook goes 2nd with only a minute remaining and it looks like someone’s off at Schwantz Curve. No idea who…

16:25
GT4 points leaders Optimum Motorsport have gone second in the class – the best of the teams that will score points this weekend

16:24
Richard Westbrook comes from nowhere to go 3rd in the tartan #32 Trackspeed Porsche

16:24
Rob Barff has gone to 3rd in the FF Corse Ferrari, Matt Bell now 5th in the United Autosports Audi behind Nick Tandy in #31

16:22

16:21
Dan Brown puts the #888 up to 6th, but he’s bumped down by Team LNT and Mike Simpson

16:19
Now Oliver Bryant bumps him 1:28.766 from the Ecurie Ecosse man. Phil Keen now third in #33

16:19
Tandy take provisional pole – 8 minutes to go

16:18
Oliver Bryant shoots up to fifth fastest, Jonny Adam and John go 2nd and 3rd. Action!

16:17
Well, it comes in GT4 where Bradley Ellis puts the Twisted Team Parker G50 fastest

16:16
Faster men out – where will the first improvement come from?

16:13
Nathan Freke has put the Century Motorsport Ginetta G50 GT4 with a lap of 1:38.502

16:13
Just after half way through the session and teams are pitting for their quick men to fight for pole position. Stand by!

16:12

Aston Martins are 1-2 in GT4, Tom Wilson has but the Complete Racing car second fastest

16:09
Uh-oh – Derek Johnston brings the Mtech Ginetta G55 with front-left damage – session over for them

16:08
It’s – by and large – the slower drivers in the car now so don’t expected too many improvements

16:08
The green flag is back out to restart the session!

16:03
Still under the red flag, Piers Johnson’s rather ungainly parking position causing the recovery team a few headaches

15:59
Aston Martin racing man Richie Stanaway is fastest in GT4, but Nathan Freke is the fastest point scoring team sixth tenths behind in the Centiry Motorsport Ginetta

15:57
Barff’s lap still holds pole with Osborne, Simpson, Bell, Abra and Jonny Adam in the top six

15:56
And the red flag comes out to aid the recovery of the #78 BMW stopping the clock with 23 minutes remaining

15:55
Mike Simpson has moved into 3rd fastest in the Team LNT Ginetta G55 GT3

15:54
Piers Johnson has spun exiting the Goddards hairpin and is blocking the entry to the pitlane

15:53
Now Rob Barff – fastest in FP1 goes to provisional pole, with Joe Osborne and Matt Bell in the United Autosports Audi 2nd and 3rd

15:52
