8. Jonas Gelzinis – 2nd in Porsche Carrera Cup GB
In his fourth season in the one-make sportscar championship, Gelzinis developed from a regular podium visitor into a championship challenger, mounting a sustained attack on defending champion Michael Meadows.
Using all his experience in the series, Gelzinis kept Meadows in his sights throughout the campaign. While a total of thirteen podiums with three wins wasn’t quite enough to grab a first Porsche title for the Lithuanian, it was still an ultra-impressive campaign.
