Ginetta Juniors 2010: Where Are They Now?

Tom Ingram

When Tom Ingram crossed the line at Brands Hatch to be crowned the 2010 Ginetta Junior champion, little did the then 17-year old know what was to lie ahead of him in the years to come.

A stunning run of eighteen top four finishes in twenty races, including five wins, was the key ingredient to Ingram’s Junior success – the first part of what’s become a unique Ginetta championship hat-trick for the High Wycombe-based racer.

Part two came in 2011, when Ingram graduated into the G50 class of the Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup. Instantly at home in the new car, Ingram dominated proceedings with ten class wins securing him the title.

Ingram stepped up the main G55 class last season, instantly fighting at the front once again. Whilst unable to really challenge for the title, six wins en-route to third in the standings laid the foundations for his superb 2013 season.

A sensational run of 22 consecutive podium finishes, featuring a series record-matching eleven wins, gave him a dominant championship win, a remarkable third Ginetta success in four seasons. A move into the BTCC is the target for 2014.
