Ginetta Juniors 2010: Where Are They Now?

7 Mins read

Jody Fannin

Of all the Ginetta Junior class of 2010, the driver who’s reached the highest level in GT racing so far is Jody Fannin.

It all began with an impressive showing in the Juniors in 2010, the Surrey-based racer ending up as comfortably the top rookie in fourth overall, having picked up two race wins.

Like Ingram and co, Fannin also stepped up into the G50 class of the Ginetta GT Supercup in 2011. The Surrey-based racer carded ten podium finishes, including three wins, en-route to third in class.

Fannin maintained his association with Ginetta in 2012, racing a G50 GT4 in the British GT Championship. Teaming up with Warren Hughes at Team WFR, a superb season saw them collect eight class wins on the way to the GT4 title.

Fresh from the title success, the 20 year old has stepped up into European competition this year with JRM and JMB Racing in their Nissan GT-R GT3’s, making appearances in the Blancpain Endurance Series, GT Tour, ADAC GT Masters and British GT, whilst also making his 24 hour race debut at Spa in July. Fannin will be one to watch as he climbs the GT ladder.
