Louise Richardson
Richardson, like Hill, is a driver who showed great potential in Ginetta’s at the start of the decade, but has been forced to spend too much time on the sidelines in recent years due to budget constraints.
A consistent front-runner over the 2010 season, twelve podium finishes including two wins gave her a comfortable third place in the standings behind Ingram and Hill.
She joined her two adversaries in the G50’s in 2011. It proved to be a mixed campaign, a huge start-line crash at Thruxton and some missed weekends overshadowing four class wins and a top five championship finish.
2012 started strongly in the G50’s again, with four class podiums over the first three meetings, however a lack of budget meant she would only return once more all season.
She made a return to the Supercup grid towards the back end of this season, over twelve months after her last racing action. There was no sign of rustiness though as Richardson picked up four G50 class victories in five races, with a full G55 campaign the aim for 2014.
