Motors TV will search for new on-screen talent to help front the channel’s 2014 coverage of the Avon Tyres British GT Championship.

The competition invites fans to try their hands in front of the camera as part of Motors TV’s stand at next month Autosport International Show at the Birmingham NEC. In conjunction with, Hayfisher, the highly respected production company behind the coverage of the series, the winner will work alongside the existing presenting and commentary teams.

MotorsTV will again be offering highlights packages for all seven weekends of the 2014 British GT season, which includes a return to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium for the first time since the 2011 season. However, the competition winner will also need to be prepared for live television, with live coverage promised for at least two events next year.

Those wishing to enter can visit the Motors TV stand (#2765 in Hall 20) throughout the four day exhibition where a professional TV studio and commentary booth will be waiting. The entries will be whittled down to a final five in each of the categories, before a panel of experts and the @MotorsTV followers pick the winners.

The best (and unfortunately worst) of the auditions will feature in a highlights program from Autosport International to start showing on MotorsTV on January 10.
