6 – Juan Pablo Montoya Goes Back to IndyCar

Juan-Pablo Montoya‘s NASCAR career never really seemed to take off, never quite getting to grips with stock car racing. In 253 Sprint Cup races, Montoya only made it to victory lane twice, both times at road courses – his only Nationwide Series win also came at a road course. Despite winning Rookie of the Year in 2007 and making the Chase in 2009, Montoya just never seemed to settle in the Sprint Cup and, unfortunately for him, will always be remembered as the guy who blew up a jet drier.
