Boardley And JHR Combine For 2014 Supercup

1 Mins read

Carl Boardley will once again compete in the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup this season, returning to the grid for his second year in the series with support from reigning champions JHR Developments.

Boardley made his debut in the Supercup last season with his family-run Carl Boardley Motorsport team. The four-time National Hot Rod World Champion carded eight top six finishes en-route to ninth in the final standings, including a maiden podium finish at Thruxton.

We at Carl Boardley Motorsport believe that the experience and knowledge provided by working with JHR Developments will put us in good stead to attack and put us on the front foot approaching the first rounds of the season,” said Boardley.

Boardley’s Ginetta G55 is currently at the JHR Developments workshop in Derbyshire undergoing a full winter refresh ahead of the new campaign.

We are delighted to welcome Carl for the forthcoming season,” added JHR team principal Steve Hunter. “He showed great promise during his maiden season in the Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup, and we genuinely believe podiums are on the horizon for this very talented driver.”
