Prince Harry Makes Goodwood Debut At Charity Track Day

1 Mins read

Goodwood played host to royalty as His Royal Highness Prince Harry made his debut at Goodwood Motor Circuit as part of a track day run by the Royal Foundation Endeavour Fund.

Having been greeted by the owner of Goodwood Motor Circuit, Lord March, upon arrival, Prince Harry took to the track for some high-octane laps in a classic Aston Martin DB4, before switching to a Lamborghini Gallardo for another high-speed run.

The Prince went on to complete two more runs in a Jaguar F-Type and an Aston Martin V8 Vantage before meeting injured servicemen who have been helped by the Endeavour Fund. His Royal Highness then went on to visit an exhibition of the Royal Foundation’s projects before moving on to see Boultbee Flying Academy at Goodwood Aerodrome.

“We’re delighted to have Prince Harry attend a track day here at the Goodwood Motor Circuit and to support the work of the Royal Foundation Endeavour Fund, which has established some wonderful projects to help injured service personnel,” said Lord March. “As a former Royal Air Force base, Goodwood has a connection with military service that stretches back 75 years, so it’s something that we feel quite a part of.”
