Falken Ready to Make TUDOR Championship debut

1 Mins read

Team Falken is ready to make their TUDOR United SportsCar Championship debut with the all new Porsche 911 RSR.

The team, who last year won Petit Le Mans, are the only customer team in the World with the 2014 Porsche 911 RSR, and the only TUDOR Championship team running Falken Tyres. Driving the No.17 for 2014 will be Wolf Henzler and Bryan Sellers, who join up for the fifth year in a row in 2014, and for Sebring will be joined by Porsche Factory driver Marco Holzer.

“Our Falken Tire Porsche 911 RSR performed great over the two days and is clearly an improvement over last year’s car,” said Henzler. “We were able to run a lot of laps without any problem and all three drivers had enough time in the car to get comfortable. This test was of great value and very important to all of us because there won’t be much testing during the Sebring 12 Hour week.

“I am very happy about driving again with Bryan and having much of the same crew as last year. Continuity is a key factor in racing, and I would say our team is one of the best in the new United SportsCar Championship and I am looking forward to racing at Sebring with both Bryan and Marco.”

“I can’t add any more than what my teammates have already stated,” said Sellers. “Sebring is a special place and I’m looking forward to having our new Porsche 911 RSR under our control as we compete for the win.”
