McLaren Automotive Launches 650S App

1 Mins read

Following the launch of the McLaren 650S Coupe and 650S Spider at the Geneva International Motor Show, McLaren Automotive has now announced a new McLaren 650S Design Studio tablet app.

The app allows users to choose a combination of paint colours, wheels and exterior carbon fibre options. Once happy with their decision, they can then place the car in a number of locations using the device’s photo gallery. The app will then detect a range of backgrounds to adjust lighting and reflections, allowing for a realistic final image.

This means that a user can place a McLaren 650S anywhere from New York’s Times Square to Monaco’s marina, or even in their own driveway.

‘Fans of McLaren will be able to use the innovative app to create some genuinely beautiful pieces of artwork with the 650S Spider,’ explained Design Director at McLaren Automotive, Frank Stephenson.

The app is available on the iTunes app store.
