Dunlop Duo Join 2014 Metzeler Line Up

1 Mins read

The Dunlop brothers have become the latest additions to the all-star lineup of riders using Metzeler tyres for the 2014 road-racing season.

Both Michael and William Dunlop will use Metzeler tyres for the first time, joining an all-star lineup of names that includes Guy Martin, Josh Brookes, Gary Johnson, James Hillier, Dean Harrison, Alistair Seeley and more.

The pair come from the most successful family in the history of motorcycle road-racing, with their father Robert winning five Isle of Man TT races and also had 15 North West 200 to his name. Meanwhile their uncle, Joey, is quite possibly the greatest road racer of all time, winning the TT a record 26 times, as well as 24 wins at the Ulster Grand Prix and a further 13 wins at the North West 200.

Metzeler enjoyed a strong 2013, with riders wearing the elephant logo scoring ten wins and 17 visits to the podium across the road-racing calendar throughout the year. The brand will be out in force at the NW200, TT and Ulster GP, providing a full range of tyres to competitors throughout the events.
