Adrian Barwick and Bradley Ellis win GT4 for Twisted Team Parker.
Joe Osborne spins on the final lap, handing 10th place back to Tom Onslow-Cole and Strata21
Sims crossed the line 4th, Alessandro Pier Guidi 5th for AF Corse.
Jonny Adam takes second place for Beechdean AMR. Steven Kane is third, but there’s an investigation underway into his ‘move’ on Sims
The Oman Racing Team pairing of Ahmad Al Harthy and Michael Caine win the Silverstone 500 British GT event
Michael Caine is heading through the Arena section on his 82nd and final lap. Coming home to seal a dominant win.
Sims spins around before lighting up the rear tyres to get back in the race
1 minute remaining. Kane goes up the inside at Stowe but Sims keeps moving to the inside and there’s contact!!
Kane is now all over Sims for 3rd in GT3. 3 minutes to go
Oliphant starts falling back, loses 4th in class to Beechdean Ross Wylie. The car (and the fire) are still going
Tom Oliphant is chasing Devon Modell in GT4. But Oliphant’s Ginetta is on fire. Literally.
Inside of ten minutes to go. The fights for 3rd in both classes are the closest on track
Osborne takes the place at Stowe.
Joe Osborne, recovering from the late drive through is trying to pass Tom Onslow-Cole to take the final point on offer
Kane is now just 3.7 seconds behind Sims
Michael Caine leads by a full minute over Jonny Adam. All Caine has to do is avoid drama to claim a second win of the season.
The Ulsterman sets the fastest lap of the race. He has 5.9 seconds to make up to Sims’ BMW
For the second time in a week Steven Kane has a chase on in the final stint, trying to track down Alexander Sims to claim third place
20 minutes to go. Tom Onslow-Cole has to give up 10th to serve a drive through penalty
Bradley Ellis currently leads GT4, 25 seconds in hand over Optimum’s Matt Draper
Richard Abra – on the final leg for MP Motorsport is in 8th place
Kane rejoins in 4th place. Caine leads Jonny Adam by a whopping 52 seconds
Now Mowle is back in. This will be for Osborne to over the car.
Berg into the pits now. Aside of Mowle/Osborne that’s the last of the front runners to pit
Mowle serves his drive through. 27 minutes to go.
Rembert Berg leads the race for M-Sport, but he too is one pitstop short of a full set with Steven Kane readying himself
Lee Mowle will have to come back to the pits, Osborne deemed to not to have slowed sufficiently under yellow flags
Attard pits a lap after Al Harthy. Caine should retake the lead with margin to spare.
Lee Mowle (in for Osborne) and Michael Caine (replacing Al Harthy) both rejoin the race. Marco Attard leads for now.
34 minutes to go. Osborne and Al Harthy come into the pits together from 1st and 2nd
And he’s through at Stowe into the lead, while Michael Caine waits in the pits for Al Harthy’s visit to the pits
In the fight for the lead (sort of) Osborne is right on the tail of Al Harthy’s Aston
Phil Keen is crawling past the Wing paddock in the #33 Trackspeed Porsche
40 minutes to go. #888 BMW and the Nissan both in for final driver change stops.
Joe Osborne has worn Al Harthy’s lead down to 9 seconds, but the BMW team still needs to make 2 stops to the Aston squad’s 1
Colin White has spun the GT3 Ginetta G55 into the barriers exiting Copse. Retiring for 12th place
Pasin Lathouras also completes the pit stop program for the #29 Ferrari with Alessandro Pier Guidi to take the AF Corse car to the end
Andrew Howard makes what should be the final stop for the GT3 Beechdean team with 45 minutes to go

Berg loses another second of time to Attard, the Bentley driver falling toward’s Andrew Howard’s Aston now – 8 seconds between them
The Beechdean AMR GT4 Aston takes a drive through penalty. That will drop them from the battle for GT4 glory
Rembert Berg turns in a slow lap, falling back to 9 seconds behind Marco Attard

Pasin Lathouras takes 8th from Chris Hoy at Aintree
The MP Motorsport car – running a different strategy to everyone else is in 12th
Jody Firth is back in the #12 Trackspeed Porsche, but down in 13th place after leading in the opening hour
Attard is in danger of losing third, slipping back towards Rembert Berg in the M-Sport Bentley
Osborne has pulled out four seconds over Attard, but has failed to make an impression upon Al Harthy’s lead
Now Joe Osborne takes second away from Attard, but the Triple Eight team are effectively one stop behind the leaders
Attard has rejoined into second place, 37 seconds behind the Oman Racing Team Aston which has resumed the lead
The Twisted Team Parker Ginetta has taken the GT4 lead after the Parfitt/Oliphant Ginetta makes a second stick
Well, the answer is Al Harthy’s already at Stowe!!

Tom Sharp, who lies 6th in the CWS Spares Ginetta is given a 2 second stop-go, the team deemed to have undershot the minimum pitstop time
Caine’s lead has help up to Alexander Sims’ scrutiny, holding firm at fifty seconds

Mowle recognises his plight and comes into the pits. Joe Osborne will take over the #8 machine
Adam is now through. Mowle, the only man of the starting drivers still racing is falling like a stone.

Tom Oliphant leads GT4 for Century Motorsport, Bradley Ellis having just pitted the Twisted Team Parker Ginetta from the lead
Ending the first hour with 27 laps complete. Caine leads by 35 seconds over Lee Mowle. Alexander Sims another 25s back in 3rd
Sims takes third at Vale, the lost momentum for Keen allowing Adam through as they accelerate through Club.
Phil Keen, Alexander Sims and Jonny Adam are all scrapping over 3rd a minute behind the leader
A few slower laps from Mowle and Caine’s lead expands to 26 seconds as we approach the end of the first hour of the race
Steven Kane puts Pier Guidi back another spot, the M-Sport Bentley up to 6th now

Parfitt into the lead a lap after their GT4 rivals. He should slot back into second you’d think.
Caine’s lead is 16 seconds as Lee Mowle stays out in the #8 Triple Eight BMW
Jake Giddings is in the pits in the Beechdean AMR GT4 car that led the class. Rick Parfitt will retake the lead in class
Jody Firth in from the lead. 48 minutes into the race.
Jonny Adam also makes a place up on Pier Guidi, as the pair split around GT4 traffic
Alexander Sims takes 5th for Ecurie Ecosse, passing AF Corse’s Alessandro Pier Guidi Ferrari at Vale
Caine takes Firth’s lead down to 3.6 seconds in a single lap
None of the GT4 front runners have pitted, but Jake Giddings has passed Rick Parfitt Jr. for the lead of the class
Meanwhile, Caine has passed Lee Mowle for second place. 6.2 seconds behind Firth’s Trackspeed Porsche in the lead.
Barff has pulled the Ferrari off the track. The BMW is stuck in the gravel
Schlesinger’s BMW involved in more contact. He can’t get out of the way of Rob Barff’s FF Corse Ferrari fast enough at Becketts and hits the 458 as he tried to pass around the outside.
Jonny Adam – paying the price for stopping a lap later is back in 10th
The United Autosports Audi is in the garage
Firth’s lead is 6.5 seconds over Mowle
Michael Caine is the best placed of those drivers to have made a driver change
Firth leads Mowle, but there are several cars between the two of them
The green flag comes out, Colin White pits.
Colin White in the CWS Spares Ginetta will pick up 2nd, Lee Mowle third after his enforced lap one pit visit
Now Howard pits, followed Attard. Jody Firth stays out to lead. Chris Hoy pits from 4th
Andrew Howard is back in the lead, circulating behind the safety car while the TF Sport Aston is recovered from the Brooklands run-off
Several other pitters including Rockingham winners FF Corse and M-Sport, where Blancpain winner Steven Kane will take over the Bentley
Al Harthy is the first man into the pits in the leading Aston, Mark Patterson and Phil Dryburgh also in from 5th and 6th
Safety Car coming out. 27 minutes into the race. This will scramble the order with pitstops
Though now the Lotus pulls into the garage.
The Lotus – which has been in the wars already – continues on
Paul Bailey in the TF Sport Aston tangles with the ISSY Lotus. The left-rear corner is torn off the Aston. Race done.
Al Harthy has stretched his lead slightly out to 1.2 seconds
Schlesinger’s BMW is given a drive through for ignoring blue flags when Howard came upon him
Chris Hoy is running a lonely 7th place in the Nissan GT Academy Team RJN entry
Oli Basey-Fisher is given a drive through for spinning the ISSY Racing Lotus
Howard — now in chase mode – is half a second behind Al Harthy. Firth has caught Attard in a fight for 3rd
Mark Poole is in the pits in the #38 MP Motorsport Aston. Richard Abra gets in – an interesting strategy call early on
The #50 Aston Martin GT4 has spun at Luffield. He’ll also continue.
Ah, Howard was forced off the track by Alain Schlesinger’s GT4 BMW through Becketts and Chapel. That led to the lead change
Al Harthy takes the lead!! He’s made up more 3 seconds in half a lap
Jody Firth had moved up to 4th at the expense of Phil Dryburgh
Parfitt Jr and Century Motorsport continue to lead GT4, ten seconds ahead of Giddings’ Aston
Attard is third in the Ecurie Ecosse BMW, but he’s falled 7 seconds behind Al Harthy’s Aston
The ISSY Racing Lotus is pushed into a smaller, but just as costly, spin at Luffield
James May spins wildly out of Abbey. None of the following cars hits him thankfully and he continues, through probably with a raised pulse rate
Howard is holding strong in the lead, now 3.2 secs ahead of Al Harthy

Lee Mowle is also back in the race, their lap one stop was to clear out the radiators after Mowle was forced into the grass
Jacques Duyver has spun the #30 Ferrari, but there doesn’t look to be any damage

Lap 2: Al Harthy sets the fastest lap, but he’s 2.5 secs back on Howard, but 2.2 up on Attard who is fighting Dryburgh for 3rd

Jim Geddie brings the United Autosports McLaren into the pits minus a rear wing. Lee Mowle also pits the #8 BMW into the pits at the end of lap one
John Dhillon spins the #13 AF Corse car at Becketts, while Attard loses second to Al Harthy at Stowe
