Ginetta GT4 Supercup Statistics: Mid-Season 2014

3 Mins read

As the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup gets ready to return to action next weekend at Snetterton, The Checkered Flag have looked back at the first three and a half years of the championship to bring you a breakdown of all the key statistics for the sportscar championship.

Unsurprisingly, series stalwart Carl Breeze finds himself topping the charts for race starts and podium finishes, though the 2012 champion still sits one win behind Tom Sharp’s record of twenty.

2012 runner-up Sharp is tied with reigning champion Tom Ingram for most wins in a season, while the latter’s incredible run to the title last season secures him the longest podium streak honours.

From the current crop, Reece Somerfield could become the second most capped Supercup driver behind Breeze if he completes the season, while front-runners Andrew Watson, Charlie Robertson and David Pittard will have a top six ranking for podium finishes in their sights.
