United Autosports Duo Enjoy Audi GT3 Test

1 Mins read

United Autosports’ pairing Carl Breeze and Luke Davenport got behind the wheel of the team’s Audi R8 LMS Ultra GT3 machine at Donington Park yesterday (17th October) as a reward for their efforts in the 2014 Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup.

In the team’s first outing in the Supercup, Breeze was a championship contender throughout as he finished third in the standings, while Davenport took two wins en-route to sixth in the points, their endeavours taking United Autosports to the Team’s Championship.

For both drivers, it was their first taste of the GT3 Audi and they relished the opportunity as they assess their options for 2015.

“Driving the Audi was without doubt the most fun I have ever had in a race car, it was awesome,” said Breeze.

“I got faster and faster with each run and it’s something I would love to drive in the future, it’s a proper piece of kit. I’d like to say a big thanks to everyone at United. It was great to have this reward for my efforts this year.”

“The test has been an absolutely brilliant experience. I have been aspiring to drive the Audi ever since I was first introduced to United Autosports during my first race weekend three years ago,” commented Daveport.

“The car turned out to be all that I had hoped it would be. I was pleased with my data and I think both Carl and I performed to the team’s expectations. I would like to thank everyone at United for giving me the opportunity to compete in such an awesome piece of kit.”
