Mintex named as title sponsor for the 2015 BHRC

Brake pads supplier Mintex will be the title sponsor of the 2015 MSA British Historic Rally Championship as the popular series starts a new five-year term under the management of the Roger Albert Clark Rally Motor Club.

“We’re delighted to welcome Mintex as our key commercial partner for 2015,” said championship manager Colin Heppenstall. “I hope this is the start of a long and mutually beneficial partnership. Mintex is already the brake pad of choice for many competitors in historic rallying.”

Mintex is the world’s leading supplier of braking friction and have been at the forefront of braking technology for over 100 years. The company also have a history in rallying sponsorship having been the title sponsor of the De Lacy Motor Club’s major international rally for many years in the 1970s.

“I’m very pleased to confirm this partnership with the new-look BHRC.” said Lawrence Bleasdale from Mintex.  “We are delighted to celebrate our heritage by supporting the championship in what seems certain to be a very well-supported and highly competitive season.”
