Consani Switches to Citroen Ahead of The Circuit of Ireland

1 Mins read

French driver Robert Consani will tackle the third round of the FIA European Rally Championship in a brand new car. Consani has entered the Circuit of Ireland Rally in a Citroen DS3 R5.

The Frenchman, who is co-driven Maxime Vilmot, is upgrading to the DS3 after using a Peugeot 207 S2000  since the start of last season.

“A difficult task awaits us with the learning of this new car, the work of adjustments looks huge, but we are looking forward to familiarising ourselves with this fantastic car,” said Robert.

Consani has won €7,000 in ERC privateer prize money so far this year and currently lies in third place overall in the championship standings just five points off championship leader Kajetan Kajetonowicz.

The Circuit of Ireland Rally starts on April 2 with an international entry of 53.
