Chris Ingram: “I’m Confident In The Wet”

1 Mins read

Peugeot UK driver Chris Ingram says his confidence is high as he prepares to tackle the Circuit of Ireland Rally, round two of the FIA European Junior Rally Championship, in his Peugeot 208 R2.

The Briton says the damp conditions may suit his driving conditions as he bids to win his first round of the series this year.

“We’ve only tested in the wet on Monday so we’ve got a very good wet set up,” said Ingram, speaking to the Checkered Flag.  “I think I’m faster in the dry but I am confident in the wet so looking forward to it.

“I have a really good team behind me now and the car is incredible so looking forward to how it will handle the Irish lanes.”

The rising British star lead the 2wd category here last year before crashing out and won the Colin McRae ERC Flat Out Trophy in the process.
