2015 Ginetta GT4 Supercup: Mid-Season Statistics

As the summer break comes to its conclusion and we prepare to commence the second half of the 2015 Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup season at Snetterton next weekend (8/9 August), we’ve had a trawl through the results to work out the key statistics on the action so far.

Carl Breeze leads the standings at the halfway mark for the first time since 2011, and it clear to see why with him featuring at the top of the leaderboards for race wins, podiums finishes, top six finishes and fastest laps.

His chief title rival Jamie Orton has the same number of wins though, and has a clear advantage over his HHC Motorsport team-mate in qualifying having been off the front row just once, helping him to the best qualifying average, while he also leads the way in laps and miles led.

Elsewhere, Michael Caine and Reece Somerfield are the only drivers to have finished in the top ten in every race so far this season, while Bradley Smith has gained more places from his grid positions than anyone else.
