LOTOS Rally Team driver Kajetan Kajetanowicz set the fastest time on the qualifying stage for the auto24 Rally Estonia, round six of the 2015 FIA European Rally Championship. The Polish driver set a time of 1:25.840 in his Ford Fiesta R5 over the 2.95 km test.

Kajetanowicz, who is second in the drivers’ standings was 1.2 seconds faster than series leader Craig Breen who could only manage fifth. Local driver Martin Kangur was second fastest just 0.01 seconds off Kajetanowicz while fellow Estonian Karl Kruuda took third a further 0.7 seconds behind.

Alexey Lukyanuk, who is returning to the series after missing two rounds, was the fastest ERC2 competitor in his Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and fourth overall.

The stage was interrupted when Estonian Sander Parn and his Welsh co-driver Jame Morgan had a big accident in their Ford Fiesta R5. Despite being unhurt in the crash the pair have been ruled out of the rest of the weekend due to damage to the car’s roll cage.
