Hodgetts Replaces Caine For Silverstone Supercup

1 Mins read

Stefan Hodgetts will make his first Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup appearance for four years as he replaces Michael Caine for this weekend’s meeting at Silverstone.

Caine missed the last races of the year at Rockingham through injury, the former British GT champion having taken four podium finishes so far this campaign including a win at Thruxton.

Hodgetts will step into the drivers seat in the Amigos-liveried JHR Developments G55 this weekend, a team he currently works for as a driver coach with their Ginetta Junior squad.

The 33 year old previously competed in two Supercup weekends in 2011, taking three podium finishes in five races at Oulton Park and Croft including one victory.
