Eurasia Motorsport will be boosted by the addition of Le Mans 24 Hours class winner Richard Bradley at the Paul Ricard ELMS round this weekend.
He will partner Dutchman Nick de Bruijn in the Filipino squad’s ORECA 03R Nissan at the 3.64 mile circuit in the South of France.
Bradley steps into the Eurasia Motorsport line-up as a replacement for regular ELMS driver Pu Jun Jin, who is tied with business commitments this weekend.
The British driver won the Le Mans LMP2 category this year with KCMG, and currently leads both the FIA World Endurance Championship drivers’ and teams’ standings.
“We are delighted to welcome Richard Bradley to Eurasia Motorsport’s European Le Mans Series driver line-up,” said team principal Mark Goddard. “It was the obvious place to introduce him, as both Nick and Kevin (Pu Jun Jin) know Circuit Paul Ricard and will need less time to get up to speed.”
“It would be a shame not to have [Jin] in the car, especially as he performed so remarkably well last time out at the Red Bull Ring. Nevertheless, a top five result is our minimum target and we hope for better than that.”
Eurasia Motorsport is currently sixth in the ELMS LMP2 standings after three rounds. The championship continues this weekend at Paul Ricard, with Free Practice starting on Saturday, September 5 at 10:30. The race itself gets underway at 13:00 (both times local, CEST).
