Stilp Switches To Supercup For Silverstone

1 Mins read

Former Renault UK Clio Cup ace Jordan Stilp has put together a late deal to make his Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup debut at Silverstone this weekend.

Stilp brought his three year spell in the Clio Cup to an end last month, with a pair of podium finishes having put him sixth in the standings prior to the Knockhill meeting.

The 21 year old will be running with Rob Boston Racing, and he got to grips with a Ginetta G55 GT4 for the first time with the team last month, testing at Rockingham.

The Supercup move takes Stilp back to his rear wheel drive roots, having enjoyed race-winning success in the Ma5da MX5 Championship for two seasons prior to his Clio debut.

Stilp is the sixth confirmed Supercup debutant for Silverstone this weekend, with his entry increasing the already season-high grid to 22 cars.
