Late Deal Brings Stilp Back For Brands Hatch

1 Mins read

Jordan Stilp will be back on the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup grid at Brands Hatch this weekend after securing a late deal to compete in the season finale with Rob Boston Racing.

The former Renault UK Clio Cup race-winner made a superb Supercup debut two weeks ago at Silverstone, stunning the paddock with a podium finish in only his second race in the series.

Stilp qualified fifth on the grid at Silverstone, which he converted into fourth place in the opening race, before overtaking former champion Carl Breeze and points leader Tom Oliphant en-route to second in race two.

It looked like Stilp might not be back in action this weekend after he wasn’t included on the official entry released by Ginetta earlier this week, but support from suspension manufacturers Gaz Shocks has put him on the grid.

Stilp’s entry boosts what was already going to be the biggest grid in the Supercup’s five year history, with 27 cars now expected to take to the track for the final three races of the season.
