2016 Ginetta GT4 Supercup To Be Contested Over 22 Races

1 Mins read

The calendar for the 2016 Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup has been released, with the championship to run over 22 races next season.

It was announced in October that the Supercup would be reduced to eight race weekends next year, with the Ginetta GT5 Challenge taking its place at Thruxton and Croft.

As has become traditional in recent seasons, the Oulton Park and Silverstone weekends will only feature two Supercup races.

Rockingham has switched to three races for the first time in series history, with the remaining five meetings all remaining as triple-headers.

Drivers in both the Pro and AM classes will count 21 of the 22 rounds towards their final championship totals.
