Ingram Targets 2016 Ginetta Supercup AM Class Title Bid

1 Mins read

Chris Ingram will return for his second season in the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup next season and is hoping to challenge for the AM class title.

The 50 year old joined the championship this season with Douglas Motorsport, immediately establishing himself as a front-runner in class.

Ingram took a podium result in his first Ginetta race weekend, which set the tone for a campaign which featured six top three finishes and fourth in the final class standings.

“The Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup is a fantastic championship to race in, and it’s great to be out there on the TOCA package alongside some fantastic drivers,” said Ingram.

“The AM class suits me down to the ground as it’s a relatively inexpensive way to compete in a championship which is popular with both drivers and fans.

“Not only that, but it gives myself and the other drivers – who have time consuming work commitments away from the track – something of a level playing field. I can’t wait to get back out there!”
