Sebastian Perez will return to the Ginetta Junior Championship this season after renewing his deal with category front-runners JHR Developments.
After making his car-racing debut in the 2014 Junior Winter Series, the 16 year old completed his first full campaign last year with JHR.
He secured best finishes of tenth at Croft and Snetterton respectively as part of eleven top fifteen finishes for the year, en-route to 20th in the final standings.
Perez went on to make strides forward in the season-ending Winter Series, with a breakthrough podium finish and one other top five result securing him fifth overall.
With those results under his belt, the Cheshire-based racer is keen to challenge for more silverware this year
“I had a great first year with Ginetta,” said Perez.
“I’ve gotten used to the Ginetta G40 race car and the circuits we travel to, so I’m hoping that experience will come in handy when it comes to picking up more podium positions!”
Perez is JHR’s second confirmed driver for the 2016 season, alongside rookie Seb Priaulx.
“I’ve got a great team behind me with JHR Developments, and I’m really looking forward to getting back out on track,” he added.
