Supercup Return For Gaffney With Amigo Motorsport

1 Mins read

Rob Gaffney will return to the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup this season following a two year hiatus, making his Ginetta G55 debut with his Amigo Motorsport team

Gaffney previously competed in the G50 Cup class of the Supercup, taking three class wins in 44 starts between 2011 and 2013

The 25 year old moved across to the Ginetta GT5 Challenge in 2014, finishing sixth overall, before taking eight wins en-route to the GTA crown in the GT Cup this season aboard his Ginetta G50

“I’m really happy to have a plan in place this early for next season,” said Gaffney.

“2015 has been a great year for us as a team and I’m going to be pushing as hard as I can to give our great sponsors another year to remember in the Supercup.

“It has always been our plan to return in a G55, and although it’s taken us more time than we would have liked, we’re delighted to be back on the grid in 2016.”
