Tilley Swaps Radical For Ginetta With 2016 Supercup Bow

1 Mins read

Experienced racer Grahame Tilley is set to join the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup in 2016.

Tilley made his name in Formula Ford competition during the late 1970’s, before taking a length hiatus from racing.

The 64 year old returned to the sport this decade, and has competed in Caterham and Radical racing in recent seasons.

Tilley made appearances in the Radical Clubmans Cup and SR3 Challenge in 2014, before tackling the Radical Enduro Championship last season.

While it has not yet been confirmed which team he will race for this year, Tilley is looking forward to battling in the Supercup AM class this season.

“I am incredibly excited to be a part of the Supercup,” said Tilley.

“I’ve followed the Ginetta brand since the G4 days, and I’m really looking forward to driving my own – although I think the Ginetta G55 GT4 car has quite a bit more grunt than those early models.

“The concept of the AM class is ideal for me, and even though it’s my first year, I’ll be going for the win.”
