Hot Rod Ace Boardley Back For More Ginetta Supercup Action

1 Mins read

Carl Boardley will make a full-time return to Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup action this season.

The four-time World Hot Rod champion previously competed in the championship full-time in 2013, before taking in selected rounds the next season.

After a successful run in pickup truck racing last year, Boardley returned to the Supercup paddock for the final two meetings of the campaign and made an immediate impact.

The 40 year old took a second place finish in the final race of the year at Brands Hatch, eclipsing his previous best finish of third at Thruxton in 2013.

“I’m really looking forward to getting back out in the Supercup this year. It’s been a long time coming and I’ve missed the guys in the paddock over the past two years,” said Boardley.

“The racing is fantastic and the car is great fun to drive, so I’m just counting down the days to the opening weekend, where I’m hoping my winning streak may continue!”
