A total of 60 cars and 180 drivers will contest the 84th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans next month (June 18-19).

The Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) released the official entry list for the world famous endurance race on Wednesday.

Drivers from 27 different countries will be present, while 19 nationalities are represented by the teams.

The largest category is once again LMP2 with 23 entries, featuring 10 cars from the FIA World Endurance Championship, 10 from the European Le Mans Series and one from the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship. KCMG will also return to defend its 2016 LMP2 class title with an Oreca 05-Nissan.

27 cars are split across the two GTE classes, with 14 manufacturer-backed Pro entries and 13 Am teams. Of note is the four-strong Ford Chip Ganassi Racing contingent, plus two works entered Porsche 911 RSRs including one for last year’s overall winner Nick Tandy.

Furthermore, the identities of AF Corse’s two additional drivers have been revealed. Alessandro Pier Guidi will join James Calado and Gianmaria Bruni in the #51 Ferrari 488, with Andrea Bertolini set to join Sam Bird and Davide Rigon in the #71 machine.

In GTE-Am, Asian Le Mans Series champions Clearwater Racing will enter a Ferrari 458, while European Le Mans Series champion Gary Hirsch joins Aston Martin Racing’s Beechdean entry.

LMP1 features the expected nine cars, with the three hybrid manufacturers and two privateer teams submitting unchanged lineups from the FIA WEC round at Spa.

The OAK Racing-entered Garage 56 entry for quadruple amputee Frederic Sausset is also confirmed.
