Lancashire Praises Century Team After Debut Improvements

1 Mins read

Gary Lancashire has described the support of Century Motorsport as “absolutely fantastic” after he made his Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup debut with the team at Oulton Park.

It was a weekend of progression for Lancashire as he made only his second race outing in his brand new Ginetta G55 GT4 against a seven strong AM class entry in Cheshire.

Whilst the 55 year old would finish bottom in class across qualifying and both the races, he would make huge stride forwards in pace with the reigning Supercup champions behind him.

“Having not raced properly for over two years, I was like a fish out of water coming to Oulton Park!” said Lancashire, who knocked over five and a half seconds off his best qualifying lap by the end of race two.

“Century were absolutely fantastic, preparing the car, lots of advice and everyone couldn’t have been more helpful.

“The team’s input with data analysis and video review was the biggest help to me, to gain large amounts of time out on track.

“The weekend was a total high for me, Century Motorsport made it a weekend to remember.”
