Fresh from winning a trio of gold medals in the Rio Olympics earlier this month, Jason Kenny OBE will swap two wheels for four as he competes in the Radical Challenge Championship at Brands Hatch this weekend.
Kenny enjoyed a sensational week in the Rio velodrome, taking gold medals in the Team Sprint, Individual Sprint and Keirin to make it six gold medals in his career so far, a record that matches fellow cyclist-turned-racer Sir Chris Hoy.
Kenny will now get behind the wheel of a Radical SR3 RSX around the Brands Hatch GP circuit, which follows on from previous racing appearances in the Radical European Masters in 2014 and the Ginetta GT5 Challenge in 2012 and 2013.
The weekend’s Radical Challenge action will incorporate two 20 minute races on the Saturday and a 40 minute pitstop encounter on Sunday, races which form part of the Lotus Festival event this weekend.
