Renault ZOE’s are in action at 2016 e-Rallye Monte-Carlo

1 Mins read

Renault will be entering four ZOE’s for the 2016 e-Rallye Monte-Carlo.

This will be the third time that the French manufacturer has taken part in the 350 kilometre rally since the rally’s inception in 2014.

The e-Rallye Monte-Carlo starts from Fontainebleau and goes through some famous WRC stages with one of them being the Col de Turini, all the way down to the finish in the Principality of Monaco.

Renault have won this e-Rally twice in two years and are looking to make it three wins in three years in Monte-Carlo with the ZOE.

There have been some changes with the ZOE in regards to power. The ZOE now has a new battery, which has doubled its New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) driving range to 400 kilometres to take its four-car crews further than any e-Rally car has gone.

Out of the 36 car line-up on this e-Rally, there is one famous face in one of the ZOE’s and that’s the model and TV presenter Adriana Karembeu.

Karembu is no stranger to motorsport as the Slovakian has competed in past rallies, and will be looking for a solid result in the e-Rallye Monte-Carlo.

The third edition of the e-Rallye Monte-Carlo takes place on Wednesday 12 October and finishes on Sunday 16 October 2016.
