Silverstone plays host to round six of the 2017 British GT Championship, with Jack Mitchell and James Littlejohn starting the three-hour Silverstone 500 event on pole in the #24 Macmillan AMR Aston Martin Vantage.
In GT4, championship leaders Stuart Middleton and Will Tregurtha in the #55 HHC Motorsport Ginetta G55 head the category.
However, the Stratton Motorsport, non-championship eligible invitational Lotus Evora entry of Stuart Hall and Gavan Kershaw begin at the front of the GT4 field with the fastest overall time from the GT4 qualifying session.
