Millers Oils have become the new title sponsor for the Ginetta GT4 Supercup as part of a new technical partnership with the Yorkshire marque.
They will also be the new sponsor for the Ginetta Junior Scholarship car for 2019, with Ethan Brooks set to compete in a Millers Oils branded Ginetta G40.
Alongside this, they have produced a new bespoke motorsport lubricant range called ‘Ginetta Tech by Millers Oils’, which will be mandatory across all five of Ginetta’s championships.
Created with their industry-leading NANODRIVE low-friction technology, Millers Oils’ range of brake fluid, engine, gearbox and differential oil will be the first fill oil in every Ginetta produced.
The fluids, which have been made orange to reflect Ginetta’s iconic brand, have specific chemical markers in them to allow for tighter scrutineering on race weekends.
“It is great to welcome a company as accomplished in motorsport technologies as Millers Oils to the Ginetta Cars team as our official Technical Partner,” said Ginetta chairman Lawrence Tomlinson.
“The new ‘Ginetta Tech by Millers Oils’ range is a fantastic opportunity for drivers across our championships to benefit from new lubricants that offer improved performance and protection.
“These features provide vehicles with both immediate and long-term benefits, which is why we are also factory filling Millers Oils lubricants into all Ginetta cars.”
Millers Oils Managing Director Tony Lowe commented: “Motorsport heritage runs deep into our 130-year history and we are delighted to continue that journey working with Ginetta Cars.
“The partnership aims to benefit those competing in the 2019 Ginetta Championships by improving reliability while also increasing performance.
“As well as developing the new co-branded range, we will also be offering our lubricant expertise not only to Ginetta itself, but also to competitors through our technical helplines.”
